Halal Drink Bar in Pakistan!

We might find various drink bars all around the world but in Muslim countries like Pakistan, it is really hard to find a drink bar where you can hang out with your friends and family or celebrate your success there by treating your employees with free drinks. Though there are few drink bars in Pakistan but those are only for foreigners and non-Muslims who definitely need a permit before entering those bars. So, there was not any drink bar for Muslims, or we can say “Halal drink bar” where we can hang out and celebrate one’s success but not anymore. Monin! One of the world’s most famous flavor suppliers has now opened its very first drink bar in Pakistan, located in De One plaza, Bahria Food Street, Bahria Town Phase 7, Islamabad. Now all the Islo and Pindi fam has got the best hang out spot where they can enjoy and celebrate.

For those who don’t know what Monin is, so here is a small piece of information for you. It all goes back to Monin’s foundation in 1912 by a small-town manufacturer and a Frenchman, Georges Monin. Georges Monin was a very passionate Frenchman who liked to serve people with different flavors. He worked really hard in his kitchen to make one of the world's most unique and tastiest flavors that no one had ever tasted. After years and years of trial and error, Georges finally developed the flavor for which he was after and penetrated the market with his unique flavors. He was the man who changed the taste and liking of people. After experimenting and developing the world’s most unique and addictive flavors in his tiny kitchen, Georges started distributing these flavors all over the country (France) and even three generations after till now, Monin is one of the world's largest flavor suppliers (providing flavors in more than 140 countries). Georges Monin will always be remembered for making this world a more flavorful place through his passion and hard work.

Coming back to the topic, I really loved the bar and its ambiance. You might find such bars at various beaches and top-class places all over the world but not in Pakistan. The person who serves the drinks there, Awais, is a very close friend of mine and when I was doing my internship, my office was just a block away from Monin, so I used to visit that place a lot. Even I got a chance to work with him by serving drinks for a few hours, just for fun. He’s a very talented and educated man as he has completed his bachelor's degree in BBA from France.

You guys should definitely visit the place; I’m confident that you will visit it again and again. Also, I would like to recommend two drinks you must try, Red Grenade and Passion Fruit. Red Grenade is basically a strong-flavored energy drink so if you have a sour throat then don’t try it whereas Passion fruit is much sweeter and full of flavor. In the end, I would personally like to recommend one more drink even if it’s winter or summer, try out their Caramel Coffee! It’s worth a try.
